How to find us near Hamilton

Karamu Horse Adventures is on Smith Road in Karamu, an easy drive from Hamilton and just as handy from Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Raglan. Once you turn onto Smith Road, follow the signs to the trekking area and they'll point you the rest of the way in.

Please double-check the map before you set off. There are several Smith Roads in New Zealand, and you want the one in Karamu, not Smith Road in Hamilton city.

Try to arrive about 30 minutes before your trek time. That gives you time to sign in, find a helmet that fits, hear the safety brief and get comfortable on your horse so the trek leaves on time.

You'll only be able to carry essentials on the trek, so leave drink bottles, large bags and other bulky items in your vehicle.
